Camden Challenge - Thrive

What can we do to support people on low incomes in Camden to thrive?

Ideas

THE CAMDEN CHALLENGE IDEA SUBMISSION DEADLINE HAS NOW PASSED

Thanks to all those who submitted, we are in the process of selecting ideas to work with on the day. Meanwhile, please do sign up on our Eventbrite page to join our teams on July 6th to be a part of helping the projects a reality!

We are looking for creative and new ideas for projects that support people to thrive, perhaps by making their money go further or finding new ways to reach their goals and aspirations.

Projects can be targeted at specific groups of people, like residents in one block, street or estate, or they can apply to people living across the borough of Camden. The project needs to be something that you are prepared to work on with others to make happen, rather than just an idea for a project you think that the council should do.

How it works:

If you have an idea, please register on Simpl Challenges and submit it below.

We will select a shortlist of the best ideas and invite the people behind the ideas to bring them to the Camden Challenge Day on Saturday 6th July. The ideas people will then work with Camden residents, businesses and designers to develop their ideas further.

At the end of the day, the teams will pitch their ideas to a panel of judges and the best ideas will be supported over the summer to take their ideas on to the next level, demonstrating impact and sustainability.

After this summer of support, the teams will pitch their project at a Dragon's Den in front of potential funders (there will be no council funding available for this) and investors in the early autumn.
